Nils talks about the album:
“In January 2015, after a three year break from our traditional acoustic UK tours, we headed back in the dead of winter, excited for another run of shows, town to town, on the bus, sharing music that hopefully spreads some good will and hope to linger with the wonderful audiences we've had, decade after decade.
Accompanied by Greg Varlotta, our friend and amazing, multi-instrumentalist and our stellar crew, we all set out to do special, inspired shows everywhere. We were all thrilled with the audience response and it was Amy who insisted we record the last half of the tour, optimistic it could lead to an album of live tracks to commemorate this wonderful UK run.
She was right and here it is. We hope you all enjoy it. It really is the audience that breaths the life, fire and inspiration into every performance. God bless you all and thanks again for your presence and magical energy, night after night, town after town, note after note. Peace and Believe.” - Nils Lofgren, September 2015

The Jan 2015 shows were a truly wonderful experience - delved into the catalogue of great songs he has written over the years lit up by his virtuoso guitar playing and more than ably assisted by his sidekick Greg Varlotta's. Brilliant shows, of which this CD is a worthy document; takes me right back to Cadogan Hall and Union Chapel. superb!

Having been a huge fan of Springsteen & The E Street Band for 30+ years, I have to say that I hadn't concentrated a great deal on the solo music of Nils.
I saw him live for the first time on the Face The Music tour earlier this year at City Varieties in Leeds. Boy, what a show and what a brilliant performer. I was literally blown away and can't wait to see him on the next part of the tour in Sheffield in a few days time. If, like me, you've missed out on some quality music by a brilliant musician, now is the time to right a wrong. Go buy this CD. Thanks Nils (and Amy who had the foresight to put this incredible tour onto CD), If you can get tickets for the live shows, don't hesitate.
